Use the Manage Order Promising Demands page/table in the Globa Order Promising work area to analyze demand, check availability, simulate different availability options, make changes that affect availability, then schedule your changes.
Pre- Requisites:
- Make sure that the Global Order Promising is configured, including setting up Sourcing Rules, Sourcing Assignment Set , ATP Rules and GOP Profile Options
Navigation: Order Management > Global Order Promising
Tasks: Manage ATP Rules, Manage Sourcing Rules and Manage Assignment Sets
- Setup ATP (Available to Promise), Sourcing Rules and GOP Assignment Set
- GOP Profile Options like “Catalog for Sourcing Assignments”, “Order Promising Assignment Set” and “Order Promising Horizon in Days” are setup using Manage Administrator Profile Values from the Setup & Maintenance.
2. Run GOP Collections (Collection Planning Data) to refresh the Global Order Promising (GOP) server with the latest supply, demand, and master data.
Once the setup and GOP Collections are completed, The data will be available for the GOP Inquiry.
GOP Inquiry/Simulation:
Will use “Manage Order Promising Demands” table for the Inquiry. Goto the Global Order Promising Home Page > Open > Select “Manage Order Promising Demands” table
It will return “Manage Order Promising Demands” page as below. Here we can use actual demand (sales order) or virtual demand to do the Inquiry
- Click OK
- Click on Check Availability
- Review the data elements like Availability status, Days of Delay, Expected Ship Date, Expected Ship From Warehouse etc.,
- Actions > View Availability Details
- We can click on a line in the availability details, go to Actions, Order promising Rules and view ATP rule used.

Note: Even the Demand Sales Order line can be scheduled from the Manage Order Promising Demands page.
