WIP Assembly Return:
You can return completed assembly from Inventory to Work Order using Dispatch List UI.
- Navigation: Supply Chain Execution > Work Execution > Tasks List > Manage Work Orders
- Enter the Work Order number, Status to Completed and click on the Search button.
- Click on the Work Order number hyper link to Open the Work Order Details > Operations (Tab)
Verify all the Operations and see until which operation it should be Rolled back.
Generally we Return from Completed status of Last Operation to Ready Status.
2. Tasks List > Select Review Dispatch List under Execute Production Tasks.
- Review Dispatch List
- Enter Work OrderWork Area = ALL
- Work Order = <Work Order NUmber>
- Status = Complete
- Place the Cursor on the Last Operation where we can see “Reverse to Ready” Option will be visible as highlighted.
- Click on Complete with Details
- Next
- Next
- Next
- Save and Close
The last operation will be changed from Compete to Ready
- Done
WIP Component Return:
Return issue component(s) from the Work Order to Inventory. Two Options – Either return all components or Specific Component(s).
- Navigation: Supply Chain Execution > Work Execution > Tasks List > Manage Work Orders
- Search the Work Order number where components were already issued and now need to Return Component(s) from the Work Order Operation
- Open the Work Order > Operations (Tab) > Look for the components issued
- Tasks List > Select Report Material Transactions from Execute Production Tasks.
- Enter the Work Order Number and Operation Number > click on Next.
- The scenario is to Return the component(s) which were already issued to a specific Operation.
- Select Transaction Type = Return
- Scan Component = <Enter the Item to be returned> > Done
- Provide the quantity to Transact in our case it should be Previously Issued quantity.
- Click on Save and Close.
- Review Work Order (Manage Work Orders) to see the returned component item quantities
